I thought you said you'd never move our family to Nigeria.

One day, early of the week of September 5, 2010, Michael came home and said, "I got offered a job today." 

"Oh?" I ask. (remain calm, I tell myself)

"In Nigeria."

"I thought you said you'd never move our family to Nigeria." (remain calm)

"Yeah, but ... that was a while ago."

"I see." (remain calm)
